MyITINCredit.com (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Simply Approved Corporation. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have under U.S. and international privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

1. Who we are

Simply Approved Corporation is a U.S. corporation that operates MyITINCredit.com, a bilingual (English/Spanish) credit-education and lead-referral site for ITIN and SSN holders. We are not a consumer reporting agency. We partner with MyFreeScoreNow to provide 3-bureau credit reports, VantageScore® 4.0 scores, daily monitoring, and identity-theft protection.

2. Information we collect

• Contact data: name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
• Identity data (only at enrollment): date of birth and the last four digits of your ITIN or SSN. This information is transmitted directly to MyFreeScoreNow over an encrypted connection; we do not store full ITIN or SSN values on our servers.
• Account & billing data: plan selected, transaction ID, last four digits of payment method (processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner).
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, and language preference.
• Communications: messages you send via contact forms or email.

3. How we use your information

• To create and service your monitoring account with MyFreeScoreNow.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, renewal notices).
• To measure and improve site performance and content.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of: (a) performance of a contract, (b) compliance with legal obligations, (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site, and (d) your consent where required.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• MyFreeScoreNow, our credit reporting partner, to deliver the service you enroll in.
• Service providers who host, secure, analyze, or support the Site under written contracts requiring confidentiality.
• Affiliate networks (e.g., Impact, CJ) to attribute referrals to partner offers — only the click and transaction ID, not identity data.
• Regulators or law enforcement when required by subpoena or applicable law.
• Successors in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

7. Data retention

We retain account and contact records for the life of your account and for up to seven years after closure to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection record-keeping rules. Aggregated, de-identified usage data may be retained indefinitely.

We use 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls, and regular vulnerability scanning. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we follow industry best practices.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data (we do not sell).

• Receive FCRA-mandated disclosures and dispute inaccurate items on a consumer report obtained through our partner.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. International transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may not provide the same level of protection as your home country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect.
